Senior Contracts Manager: Job Details
A Senior Contracts Manager / Business Unit Leader is required to join a main contractor and spearhead the foundation and development of a new office in Manchester, to service the North West and Midlands. The successful candidate will initially assist with the setting up of the Manchester office including recruitment of relevant, experienced staff, and will be actively involved in business development in the region. Reporting to the company's head office in southern Ireland, this is seen as a key role for the company's growth and future development and expansion.
Candidates will need to satisfy certain key requirements for consideration, including:
* Holding a degree in a relevant industry-related discipline
* Having held a similar position with a main contractor with a turnover exceeding £35m
* Having experience of working in the North West construction market, exhibiting a good knowledge of the industry and professional practice in the area
* Having experience of procurement and business development.
* Having strong communication skills, written and verbal.
