Senior Quantity Surveyor: Job Details
An experienced Project / Senior Surveyor is required to join a project team based in Aston, Birmingham, to work on fit-out and refurbishment schemes in the Midlands region. The successful candidate will need to contractually aware, in particular NEC form of contract, be a confident negotiator, have good client-facing skills, and able to prepare all commercial reports including CVRs unaided. He or she should also be confident in preparation of sub-contract agreements and managing sub-contract relationships, and take an active involvement in the value engineering process. The successful candidate will have a good general build knowledge and will have worked with strong regional build contractors. He or she will have managed assistants and trainees and will have worked pre-and post-contract from initial bid preparation through to handover. Good written and verbal communication skills are essential
