The Role
An experienced Project Manager from a stable main contracting background is required to take on the running of a £25m new build education project on Merseyside. The Project Manager will be fully responsible for delivering this state of the art secondary education facility and will liaise with the client on a regular basis.
The Person
Experience of running projects around the £15m mark is essential, and ideally this experience will have been gained in the education sector, with particular reference to new build Academy projects. A stable background with top 10 main contractors will be the best preparation for early and continued success in the role. A construction related degree would be highly desirable attainment, but more important is hands-on project running experience
The Company
The company has built a reputation and a sound business foundation on repeat business by ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to a high standard of finish. The company is one of the UK's largest privately owned construction services companies employing over 2,000 staff with a turnover in excess of £950m. This commercial fit-out division is currently predicting a turnover of £30m, including both public and private works.
The Opportunity
This is an exciting career role offering an attractive rewards package, both financial and professional, and the opportunity to work with one of the country's most successful contractors. Applications are invited from senior construction managers with a track record of multi-site responsibility.
