Facade Project Manager: Job Details
A Project Manager is required to manage all aspects of the external envelope on a £100m+ commercial build project in the North West of England. The successful candidate will need to be able to represent the company in meetings with external clients, architects and major sub-contractors as well as having a strong construction background and able to converse knowledgably with structural engineers, site staff and all colleagues. The Façade Project Manager will need to have proven experience managing large schemes or £20m+ packages through pre-construction and construction phases and be able to seamlessly traverse one to the other. The role will involve regular trips to Austria during the pre-construction stage to work with the curtain-walling contractor through the manufacturing stage, and some knowledge of German would be useful though non-essential. This role would suit either a main contractor's project manager who has experience managing large cladding packages, or someone who has previously worked for a cladding contractor and since gained experience in a large main contractor setting.

Initially a temporary contract, the role will carry a competitive per diem rate and will be a full-time role. However, there is a strong possibility of the role being made permanent due to the possibility of future projects with the same client in the same vicinity and therefore this is an excellent opportunity to join one of the UK's strongest and most secure main contractors.
