Design Manager: Job Details
A Design Manager with a main contractor background is required to oversee projects in two regions for a contractor with offices in Manchester and Birmingham. The successful candidate will manage two D&B co-ordinators and have a proven track record of successful involvement in schemes from pre-construction through to final delivery and every step in between. This client focuses on the rooms market - including hotels and student accommodation - and retail in particular and is seeking a candidate with a broad main contracting history on schemes over £10m, with significant experience in these areas. Candidates will ideally be based in South Manchester, North Birmingham or in between the two office locations.

The company operates from regional offices and is active throughout England and Wales in various market sectors including Hotel & Leisure, Commercial, Retail and Residential Apartments. This is an excellent opportunity for a Design Manager with relevant experience and the requisite qualifications to join a well-established and successful main contractor. Candidates should please be aware that the role is to cover both the Midlands and the North West equally.
