Planner - Freelance: Job Details
The North East office of a national contractor is currently seeking a project planner for a 6-month temp contract in Newcastle-upon-Tyne. The role will be on a £19m retail scheme in the city centre to encompass a refurbishment, extension and structural reconfiguration to an existing retail store. To be considered for the post, candidates must be fully competent with Asta PowerProject software and have experience in "cut-and"carve" projects. As this site is in a busy city centre, it will provide logistic as well as building challenges and the successful candidate will have previously worked as a contract or project planner on similar works.

The company operates from regional offices and is active throughout England and Wales in various market sectors including Hotel & Leisure, Commercial, Retail and Residential Apartments. This is a temporary opportunity and requires a planner who is able to work in the North East on a freelance basis until mid-2012.
