Senior Site Manager - Tier 1 Main Contractor - West Midlands - Multiple projects underway - further projects to start Working for one of the largest privately owned Tier 1 main contractors, you will be working with a team on student accommodation, commercial and education projects in the West Midlands. Having a strong order book with further projects due to start and with a turnover of more than £900m they have built themselves a name and reputation to become one of the 'go to' contactors in the Region. The Opportunity As Senior Site Manager, you will be working on various projects including student accommodation, commercial and education projects in and around the West Midlands area up to circa £100m. As Senior Site Manager reporting to a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day running of all site activities including ensuring all works are carried out in accordance with the contract information, drawings and manage all quality specifications. You will monitor progress at all times in line with the current programme, arrange and attend all meetings, manage and oversee all subcontractors on site and ensure all Health, Safety and Welfare policies are adhered to at all times as per company policy. As Senior Site Manager, you will have the ability to build and develop strong relationships within the team and with the subcontractors, ideally come from a main contractor background although this is not essential and have worked on a variety of schemes such as commercial, education, student accommodation (including high rise), with the ability to drive projects forward effectively whilst ensuring safety, quality and programme at all times. A highly motivated and talented Senior Site Manager who can use their skills to be a problem solver and someone who has their eyes on the next step in their career for progression to project management.
