With further project awards expected, this is an opportunity to join a contractor that has a clear line of site on their current and future workstreams. The Opportunity As Senior Quantity Surveyor you will be taking the lead role on a residential project valued at a circa £35m and reporting into a visiting Managing QS or Commercial Manager. You will be working closely with the site team to help support and achieve a successful delivery process. With the site team already in place, it will be essential that you have the proven experience, confidence and 'can do' attitude to integrate seamlessly within the team to further support, lead and drive the project through to completion. Skills and Experience This role is suited to an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor that has led large schemes, ideally with residential experience although that is not necessarily essential. You will be experienced in all main aspects of quantity surveying attending site meetings ensuring clear and concise interactions between the commercial team and the operational site team. You will control all aspects of the commercial, financial and contractual elements, ensure cost reports and the like are maintained as well as manage subcontractor accounts. You will also assist and liaise on materials procurement and buying opportunities and manage the day to day cost control of the project including financial reporting and Final Accounts.
