Working for a well known firm in the construction sector you will assist the accounts team with all financial aspects. This is an office based role working from a regional office in Manchester. Hours: 37.5 hours per week 9am to 5pm (however there is room for flexibility with start and finishing times). You will report to a Senior Accounts Manager and help ensure the smooth running of the accounts and admin team.
Duties will include:
* Assisting with reports for Management Accounts
* purchase ledger
* sales ledger
* bank reconciliations
* credit control
* Petty Cash / Expenses / data entry etc and any other ad hoc accounting duties.
Some previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
Excellent communication skills written and verbal are essential as well as strong IT skills. Those who have some experience working in the construction, civil or engineering sectors are encouraged to apply.
