Assistant Quantity Surveyor - Regional Contractor - Housing / Apartments / Care Facilities - North West

The Role and Responsibilities

Drawing on their strengths to deliver housing, apartment and care facilities, as Assistant Quantity Surveyor you will ideally come from a similar background and be nearing the stage where you will be looking for your next opportunity to progress your career

As Assistant Quantity Surveyor under guidance and with support as and when needed, you will need to be at the stage where you can take responsibility for the successful management and control of all aspects of the commercial / financial and contractual elements of a project in order to control and maximise the company's profitability, protect the company's legal and contractual obligations and to proactively manage the control of all commercial issues. This includes ensuring applications and valuations are completed in line with the contract terms, that sub-contractors receive prompt payment and are procured in line with contractual obligations and commitments to Subcontractors.

Skills and Experience

Ideally two to four years' experience preferred
HNC/HND or Degree educated
Worked in a similar role and near to taking the next step up on their career path
Ideally have experience of working on new build housing, apartments and Care Homes
Up-to-date CSCS card
