Building Services Manager - Manchester - Newly created position working with a leading contractor in their North West region

This contractor is an multi-national construction force with a strong foothold in the Manchester area. We are looking to recruit a Building Services Manager to initially work on a large high-rise residential project valued in excess of £40m. Our Client has built up an extensive portfolio of projects in the region including major residential, commercial and mixed use developments with individual values from £30m to £100m+.

The main function of this role will see you managing and coordinating the installation of MEP services. You will manage the sub-contractors on site, checking drawings and scopes of work to ensure installations meet the specification, reporting on the progress of the project to the management teams. Following the installation phase you will oversee the commissioning and checking phases and resolve any defects to successfully resolve any outstanding issues.

Our client is looking for candidates with proven experience onsite delivery experience in the construction industry. Ideally coming from a main contractor background with a strong and proven record successfully managing MEP packages and achieving set timescales whilst maintaining a high quality installations.

You will also have all the necessary certificates to ensure safe working on site including CSCS etc.
