The successful candidate will develop and implement growth opportunities for the business. We are looking for a well connected, driven individual that can take the bull by the horns and win work. If you have a good understanding of the Manchester construction market, are happy to pursue and develop client relationships, and can do the 'front end' work to bring in new clients and develop old ones then apply today.
You will get to work with a top tier contractor who is not only a very secure business but one that invests in its workforce and takes pride the projects it delivers. They have excellent staff retention records and can boast a a fantastic turn over of £300m a year. You will be given the full support of the Manchester team as well as the freedom you need to ensure new work is won.
Skills / Experience:
You must be able to demonstrate experience in a similar role, ideally in the construction industry.
You will be expected to have excellent connections to the Manchester market along with expert industry knowledge.
You will be good at networking and will be open to also hosting networking events.
You will have a successful business development background however you may have gained your experience via another route such as operational, bid or design management.
Excellent relationship building skills and the ability to manage time and activity efficiently.
Good sales skills across the board
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A passion for the construction sector and a proven track record in successful sales and business development.
