Cad Technician - Freelance role with immediate start - Stafford Location - 2 year contract

The opportunity :
This national civils contractor designs roads, bridges and transport systems covering UK wide. Based from the offices in Stafford you will be working on projects ranging from major improvements to resurfacing and maintenance. Due to a growth in the team they are looking to recruit a Cad Technician with Autodesk civils 3D experience to join their team on a freelance / contract basis for the next 2 years.

Skills / Experience :

Experience using Audodesk Civil's 3D is essential. AutoCAD Civil 3D software is a design and documentation solution for civil engineering that supports building information modeling (BIM) workflows.
Production of 2D and 3D design models using industry standard modelling applications from Autodesk.
Responsible for checking of models, details and schedules. Taking information from the models and cutting and streamlining he models.
Experience of working as a CAD Technician within a civil's team.
Ability to produce all 3D design information required for roads / highways work.
