Working within the busy midlands region we are looking to speak to experienced Defects or Site Manager who have a keen eye for detail and quality. You will be responsible for managing client expectations with regard to historical projects with outstanding defects, working closely with clients to finalise contracts. Project and quality analysis will be required to work through and build a defects list before working though and correcting this issues ensuring work is in accordance with the contract as agreed. This position will include working across project in the Midlands region including education, student accommodation, commercial, extra care and retail project valued at £5m to £25m.
Skills & Experience
This role requires a candidate with excellent client-facing ability and the capacity to think strategically within the boundaries of a contract. We are looking to speak to people coming from a main contracting background. He or she will have the presence and character to stand firm on contractual matters allied to the diplomacy needed to maintain very healthy client relationships for the long-term good of the business. This is a role which would suit a candidate with an eye for detail, a strong belief in delivering a quality product, and significant experience in the construction industry.
