The role would be ideal for a Design coordinator who has experience in social housing.
You will be working from Birmingham and supporting a number of live sites across the Midlands.
Your role will be to manage the design programme and ensure that all design information is compliant with the contract for each site.
You will be responsible for the application for new utility mains/supplies and connections.
To support the project manager, site manager and surveyor in the appointment of all subcontractors for the project.
To support in the production of quality statements for each site.
Managing the distribution of all paperwork to relevant parties.
To provide and update all reports throughout the project so they are compliant.
You will need to develop productive working relationships with clients, suppliers and authorities to support the successful delivery of each site.
Able to form effective working relationships with clients, employer's agents, consultants, statutory authorities, suppliers etc. as required to ensure project success.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of design coordination in the social housing sector and be able to show you have up to date knowledge of legislation and procedures.
