Working for one of the largest privately owned Tier 1 main contractors, you will be working with a team known for working on some of the largest accommodation, commercial, education and health projects in the North West. Having already secured their turnover for 2022 and with a turnover of more than £900m they have built themselves a name and reputation to become one of the 'go to' contactors in the North West.
As Document Controller based from the site office, you will be reporting to the Senior Project Manager and working with the site team to oversee the document control systems as well as managing site administration.
You will be responsible for issuing documents as necessary and updating the Document Register, managing the general office administration including taking Site Meeting Minutes distributing as required. You will update and manage the file directory, log and manage all incoming drawings and documents working closely with the team to ensure all document requirements are captured and retained with a clear audit trail tracking all movements and changes.
You will need excellent IT skills, be proficient in the use of 4 Projects as well as having a strong background and knowledge of working with Microsoft Office packages with the ability to work as part of a team.
Skills and Experience
This role will suit an experienced Document Controller coming from a main contractor construction background.
As a minimum, you will:
Have excellent oral and written skills with clear communication
Come from a stable background and have worked in a similar position previously
Proficient with 4 Projects with an excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
The ability to work as part of a Team
