A forward thinking and dynamic contractor requires Document Controller to manage the day to day running of a busy office and provide admin support to the management team. Approximately 37.5 - 40 hours per week. You will be office based and duties will include overseeing the the drawings using Viewpoint, and undertake any general admin duties for large £20m new build schemes. *General office administration including typing, copying and filing all correspondence and managing the drawings using Viewpoint. Document control experience is essential for this role. Those who have similar experience using software such as 4Projects, Conject, BIW, SharePoint etc are all invited to apply as training can be given.
*Responsibility for diary management, booking meeting rooms, and all admin duties required to support the busy site management team.
*Responsible for managing all reception duties when required and any refreshments.
*Answering calls in the office in a polite professional manner. Those who have previous experience working for a main contractor / or engineering company are highly desirable and encouraged to apply.
Skills and qualifications:
*Proficient in Outlook, Microsoft and Viewpoint (or similar document control software)
*Good organisational skills
*Good written and verbal skills
*Document control experience is essential
