Freelance Site Manager - 15 weeks - regional contractor - Manchester

The Opportunity

Working with a main contractor on a freelance basis until approximately mid-October 2019, you will be managing the window replacement on 95 apartments on a listed building.

As Freelance Site Manager you will need a strong emphasis on externals and a good eye for detail. As this is a Listed Building with specialist replacement metal window frames, photographic evidence of works prior to commencement and post installation will be required. You will be pushing and driving the externals trades checking quality and ensuring all work is to the highest standard.

Reporting to a visiting Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring all the externals are completed to a high level and that full photographic evidence has been attained prior to commencement and post completion with an eye on safety at all times.

Skills and Experience

Ideally come from a main contractor background
Have previously worked on similar projects and have externals work experience
Hold current CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid, Asbestos Awareness, PASMA & Fire Marshall
Hold current Driving Licence
