A leading main contractor looking to add a Mechanical Estimator to it Midlands team due to an ongoing busy workload. Working on projects including education, high rise residential, commercial and medical projects up to and in excess of £150m.

The Opportunity

Joining an established team working across the busy Midlands region you will initially be working on one of the regions largest projects in the heart of Birmingham. This project is one of the Midlands larges schemes and will including considerable mechanical and electrical works. Following on from this project you will continue to work on projects from inception, tender/bid and pre-construction though to onsite delivery. Duties will include pricing, consulting, working with subcontractors, take offs and building systems from blank drawings.

Skill and experience

We are looking to speak with experienced Mechanical estimators who have a strong team work ethic and attitude, developing into the team quickly and working towards common successful goals. It would be an advantage to have used estimating software previously and have a strong understanding of excel.
