Planner - Regional Contractor - High-Rise Residential / Accommodation Schemes

The Opportunity

This is a chance to join a contractor looking to establish a strong team to work on projects throughout Lancashire, Greater Manchester, Merseyside, South Yorkshire and beyond. Due to consistent structured growth and with their workload already secured for the next eighteen months, turnover is expected to reach £100m during 2019 and with further awards likely, this contractor will firmly secure its name as a specialist provider of high-rise accommodation projects.

The Role and Responsibilities

Working both in the office on site, you will be working on a number of projects valued from £8m+ including tender and contract planning. You will liaise with the project teams on all planning matters working on the production of programmes with further duties including producing weekly/monthly reports, scheduling meetings and managing the planning and programming of the works.

In addition, you will need to maintain electronic files and administration of planning and programme documents, check the quality of the production of planning, develop tracking schedules as required to maintain information and prepare tender event programmes for procurement of contractors. Site visits will also be required so the ability to travel as and when necessary is essential

Skills and Experience

*Proven ability of working in a similar role is preferred with experience of working on high-rise accommodation projects of benefit but not essential.
*The ability to travel as and when required
*Good communication skills
*Use of planning software P6 & Asta etc.
*Current up-to-date CSCS card
