Planner - North West Regional Contractor - Established over 50 years, family owned business - further team expansion

The Opportunity

As Planner, you will be working within a busy North West region on projects that could include, education, accommodation, housing & commercial up to the value of circa £20m. The Role

As Planner you will keep the client and Senior management team up-to-date on progress, present reports and information at meetings, maintain and administer construction and tender programmes, liaise with contractors and suppliers to develop programmes on the phases of the construction process.

In addition, you will need to maintain electronic files and administration of planning and programme documents, check the quality of the production of planning, develop tracking schedules as required to maintain information and prepare tender event programmes for procurement of contractors. Site visits will also be required so the ability to travel as and when necessary is essential

Skills and Experience

*Ideally hold an HNC/HND or Degree in a construction discipline
*Proven ability of working in a similar role is preferred
*The ability to travel as and when required
*Good communication skills
*Use of planning software Asta and MS Project
*Current up-to-date CSCS card
