Planner - North West - Education Framework - Further Awards Anticipated - New Team

The Opportunity

Having won a place on an Education Framework with works due to commence shortly, a leading North West Contractor is looking to establish a new Team to lead and deliver these projects. This is an exciting time for this contractor and they are looking to establish a vibrant, strong Team to lead the projects from "the cradle to the grave".

Established for over 30 years, they have a reputation for working with Blue Chip Companies and having gone from strength to strength in this industry, they are now looking to expand their current Teams and create a new future which will see them further strengthen their position throughout the North West and further define their profile as a strong contender in the market.

The Role and Responsibilities

As a Planner you will be expect to prepare preconstruction, design, construction and handover programmes from RIBA stage 1 onwards, develop programmes, logistics and construction proposals for local competition stage and contribute to overall quality bid submission. The ability to travel as and when needed will also be required as you will undertake site visits as part of the project team at bid stage and during construction stage.

You will be expected to develop programmes from preconstruction stage up to contract award, monitor progress against programme during all stages of the project providing advice to the project team as and when needed and monitor/update account resources programme as the project proceeds.

Skills and Experience

Schools / University experience essential
Experience of having worked in a similar role for 4+ years is desired
Experience of working in a client facing role with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Up-to-date CSCS card is preferred but not essential
