Project Manager - Manchester - Established Regional Contractor - expansion of Team required on High-Rise Projects valued at £25m+

The Opportunity

Having established themselves as a contractor who specialises in private rental and hotel accommodation amongst others, due to an increase in workload and size of the projects they are working on wish to further add to their existing Team.

Working within a company that is becoming known in the market for working on large projects in the accommodation sector, they are currently enjoying structured growth that will see them hit the £100m turnover this year with work already secured.

Working initially on a project in Manchester for the next two years, the opportunity for growth and progression within the company is there for the right candidate. Operating both regionally and nationally, they currently have a number of projects underway with a pipeline of further works that only looks to strengthen their brand position in the market.

The Role and Responsibilities

Reporting to a visiting Contracts Manager you will have ideally worked on a number of projects including high-rise Hotels, Student Accommodation or private residential and be able to prioritise workload whilst remaining client focused at all times.

You will have a proven ability to lead and co-ordinate all project activities ensuring that all project deliverables are achieved with regard to safety, quality, programme and cost.

Further duties will include attending and chairing client and project meetings, maintaining contact and a good working relationship with the clients, monitoring and reporting on budgets, delays and holdups on a regular and detailed level to senior management with the ability to recognise and close out any issues quickly and effectively.

Skills and Experience

Coming from a main Contractor background with the proven ability of having worked in a similar role on high-rise projects, experience of having worked with logistical challenging sites will be of benefit.

Hold up-to-date CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid certificate
