Project Manager - East Midlands - Education & Public Sector works - Exciting, innovative and growing company backed by a Major Group - £100m work already secured

The Opportunity

As Project Manager working within this established national contractor you will be joining an expanding division working on new build and refurbishment education projects. Initially joining a new build project valued at circa £25m in the East Midlands you will be the onsite lead reporting into a visiting Contracts Manager. This project will also include new sports facilities and sports fields, working on a brownfield site. Taking control of this project from the pre-construction stage you will work closely with the planning and design team to ensure successful delivery. Further duties will include attending and chairing client and project meetings, maintaining contact and a good working relationship with the clients, monitoring and reporting on budgets, delays and holdups on a regular and detailed level to senior management with the ability to recognise and close out any issues quickly and effectively.

Skills and Experience

We are looking to speak with experienced Projects Managers coming from a stable main contractor background, though it could be an advantage, it is not a requirement to have previous education project experience. Suitable candidates will have a proven ability to lead and co-ordinate all project activities ensuring that all project deliverables are achieved with regard to safety, quality, programme and cost.
