Recognised as producing quality social housing developments throughout the North West as well as speculative private housing and care homes, this company continues to develop strong roots in the community through structured growth with a number of new projects due to start over the next few months.
The Role and Responsibilities
As Project Manager reporting to a visiting Contracts Manager, you will ideally have worked on a number of projects in the housing, high-rise residential or care home sector. You will have a proven ability to lead and co-ordinate all project activities ensuring that all project deliverables are achieved with regard to safety, quality, program and have a good eye for commercials.
As Project Manager, you will have a proven ability to lead and co-ordinate all project activities ensuring that all project deliverables are achieved with regard to safety, quality, program and have a good eye for commercials. An ability to "lead from the front" is essential providing support and mentoring where required to junior members of the team thereby ensuring the continued development of the business with a strong site team to build lasting relationships with site staff and clients alike.
Further duties will include attending and chairing client and project meetings, maintaining contact and a good working relationship with the clients, monitoring and reporting on budgets, delays and holdups on a regular and detailed level to senior management with the ability to recognise and close out any issues quickly and effectively.
Skills and Experience
First Aid certificate
The ability to travel as and when required
Experience of having worked for a Tier 1 contractor preferred but not essential
