Working with an established contractor with a successful longstanding history, you will be joining a creative, innovative and multi-disciplined company with a successful track record of delivering high profile projects for both public and private sector clients.
As Project Quantity Surveyor, you will be working on education or commercial projects circa £7 to £8m with the support of a Managing Surveyor as and when needed. This opportunity could see you assisting Graduate Surveyors who will be new to the business understand the practical side of surveying as well as strengthening your own skills and knowledge base.
Skills and Experience
As Project Quantity Surveyor reporting to a Managing Quantity Surveyor, you will need a proven track record working with a main contractor on similar type projects with duties including subcontract procurement and subcontract payments, ensuring that interim valuations are accurately checked with a keen eye on any potential costs to ensure the budget is not exceeded at all times and reporting on any potential issues to your Managing Surveyor as soon as possible.
As Project Quantity Surveyor, you will be commercially aware and meticulous in all your workings, have good people and organisational skills with the ability to support junior team members as and when necessary.
You will also need:
*Experience of working in a similar role
*Experience working on two stage tenders is preferred
*A good knowledge of JCT D&B and NEC Option A preferred
