Newly created Project Quantity Surveyor opportunity working with a growing regional contractor - taking the lead commercial role on project up to £10m including commercial, healthcare, retail, education, industrial and residential project.

Joining and established and growing regional contractor this is an opportunity that will see you joining the company at an exciting time. Due to successful year on year growth and a strong order book our client is looking to add a new member to their commercial team. Working across a variety of sector with project values from £1m to £10m these contractor can offer a variety of experience. In this role you will be responsible for overseeing the commercial aspects of your own project being the onsite commercial lead. With strong career progression opportunities this is the idea position for someone who is looking to prove their ability and take further career progression steps.

Duties will include:
-Produce Bill of Quantities utilising SMM7 or NRM2.
-Split Bill of Quantities into elemental resources and allocate to cost code and produce Short Forecast Template.
-Produce S/c Procurement Schedule from analysis of agreed contract programme. Update on periodical basis.
-Compile and issue S/c enquiries.
-Compile s/c tender comparison report and issue to Managing QS to demonstrate due diligence in procurement process.
-Compile and issue S/c Orders including arranging and chairing Pre-Order Meeting and then producing minutes for insertion into S/c Order.
-Manage collateral warranty process with s/c to ensure their timely execution. Includes completion of Warranty Tracker.
-Produce monthly internal short forecast report for issue and review by senior commercial team and MD.
-Compile and issue monthly external valuation to client/client representative.
-Compile and issue S/c Payment Notices & Payless Notices including management of S/c accounts and agreement of final account.
-Price contract variations and produce loss/and or expense claims.
-Compile & present commercial section of monthly contractor's report.
-Compile and agree final account with client/client's representative.
