Quantity Surveyor opportunity joining an expanding Shropshire based new build private housing contractor working in a busy office which has shown stable year on year growth.

The Opportunity

Joining a busy office which delivers in excess of 200 units per year you will be working as an onsite commercial lead for projects consisting of 50 to 100 units. In this role you will be reporting into the Commercial Manager overseeing junior members of the commercial team who will be supporting you. Working within the close knit team there will be ongoing career progression opportunities to Senior Quantity Surveyor. This contractor has shown stable year on year growth and is currently turning over circa £50m with further growth predicted.

Skill and Experience

We are looking to speak to Quantity Surveyors who have experience working on new build private housing and have worked in an onsite commercial lead. Working within this contractor will see you interacting with the head office and working closely with junior members of the team so will suit a team player. Duties will include sub-contract procurement, payments, valuations, cost reviews and producing monthly cost reports.
