Further Team Expansion - Quantity Surveyor - North West Regional Social Housing provider delivering social housing refurbishment, improvements and upgrade works looking to further expand existing Team

The Opportunity

As Quantity Surveyor you will be working through an effective supply chain dealing with the procurement, tendering and estimating, management of monthly project cost and the production of regular reports.

Reporting to a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be working on a number of projects providing commercial expertise to assist in the operational delivery of each contract. The ability to monitor, manage and control the various schemes financial activities across all direct site personnel ensuring the completion of work remains within time and budget will be key as will be the ability to lead, support, manage and motivate the site teams to achieve the required commercial objective.

Skills & Experience

You will have proven experience of managing up to 4 or 5 schemes at any one time, including small works, planned maintenance and refurbishment projects.

A recognised RICS or relevant Quantity Surveying/ Construction specific qualification with knowledge of the Social Housing Sector and Construction Industry is essential with the ability to prioritise workload working to strict deadlines

A clean driving licence with flexibility to travel for site visits as and when required is essential.

Current CSCS card is preferred but not essential
