An exciting opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor with experience in the house building sector.This progressive Company offer a competitive package with opportunity for career progression. Based in Shropshire you will report directly to the commercial Director.

You will be responsible for managing the finances across a number of new sites and your duties will include: final accounts, sub-contractor tendering and payments, valuations and procurement.

Qualifications/Experience

Ideally you will be educated to HNC/HND, degree level or RICS qualified with experience of house building. It would be beneficial to have experience of working as a Quantity Surveyor for a residential developer or contractor and demonstrate sound technical and surveying knowledge. A good level of computer literacy including Microsoft Word and Excel is required and knowledge of COINS software is desirable but training will be provided.

Skills

You must be outgoing and confident with excellent communication skills, highly organised with a focus on quality, able to work on your own initiative as well as being a team player where you will be required to support our Assistant and Trainee Surveyors. You should also be ambitious and determined to build a long-term career with this progressive business.
