Quantity Surveyor - Regional Main Contractor - North West - New opportunity available due to an increased and growing workload

Having a strong reputation in the North West for delivering projects on time and to a high standard, this established contractor is looking to further expand their existing North West team. With further project awards expected, this is an opportunity to join a contractor that has a clear line of site on their current and future workstream.

The Opportunity

As Quantity Surveyor working under a Senior Surveyor, you will be joining a company that has an established background working on projects including Health, Facilities Management and Regeneration.

As Quantity Surveyor you will working on subcontract procurement, payments, Cost Value Reports, variations, Final Accounts and be experienced in client liaison and change management.

Further duties include controlling all aspects of the commercial, financial and contractual elements, ensure cost reports and the like are maintained as well as manage subcontractor accounts. You will also assist and liaise with the Buyers on materials procurement and buying opportunities and manage the day to day cost control of the project, monitoring and reporting as required.

Skills and Experience

*Degree in Quantity Surveying or HNC in Construction
*Ideally from a main contractor background
*Experience of working in a similar role
*The ability to work as part of a team
*Computer literate with excellent oral and written communication skills
*Ideally hold a current CSCS card although not essential
