Working with an established main contractor in the Manchester region on high rise residential project up to £100m+ as the commercial No. 2.

The Opportunity

Joining a well known main contractor working on a project in the north west region, you will be joining an established team and working in an onsite capacity supporting the commercial lead. Joining an established team you will be working on major private residential projects with values from £20m to £100m+. This role will offer you the opportunity to gain valuable major project experience in a work environment that will offer future career progression to Senior Quantity Surveyor taking a lead role.

Working as a member of the onsite commercial team you will be taking responsibility for all the key commercial aspects of the project including, sub-contract procurement, payments, valuations, cost reviews and producing monthly valuation reports.

Skills and Experience

This role will suit a driven and ambitious individual who comes from a main contractor background. Ideal candidates will have previous experience working on major high rise residential projects but this is not essential. Those with a solid construction background are invited to apply.
