Senior Planner - Established company backed by a Major Group - Education & Public Sector works - £100m secured work

The Role and Responsibilities

Joining the expanding education division of an established national contractor who have experienced company growth following their recent acquisition. Working as part of a new joint venture initiative gaining a strong foothold in public sector works with has already secured in excess of £100m. As Senior Planner you will be working in an office based role overseeing multiple projects, from tender stage through to onsite construction, carrying out site visits during the build process. Working on projects including new build modular schemes and refurbishments up to circa £25m.

Duties will include leading in the development baseline programmes for the project, producing weekly/monthly reports, scheduling meetings and managing the planning and programming of the works. In addition, you will need to maintain electronic files and administration of planning and programme documents, check the quality of the production of planning, develop tracking schedules as required to maintain information and prepare tender event programmes.

Skills

This role will suit an experienced Senior Planner from a main contracting background with experience of using ASTA who has had exposure to public sector works. You will have experience of leading projects from tender and pre-construction through to onsite delivery. This role will suit a Senior Planner who is able to challenge the supply chain and is proactive in their approach.
