The Opportunity

An established Cost Consultancy based in and around the Cheshire, Lancashire and North Wales area are looking to recruit a Senior Quantity Surveyor to add to their existing Team. Established over ten years ago, they have consistently increased their client base which has seen their turnover and business grow with turnover anticipated to exceed current expectations.

Working in all sectors including high-end luxury housing, conservation/heritage and public buildings amongst others you will be working on projects with values ranging up to £30m. The Role and Responsibilities

As Senior Quantity Surveyor you will have the experience and proven background to carry out site visits across the North-West as needed, cost planning, measurement, estimating, meet with Contractors and Clients, preparation of contract documents, cost control and reporting, attend progress meetings, carry out valuations and prepare recommendations for payment as well as take-off's and managing disputes.

Skills & Experience

Proven experience of having worked in a Senior Quantity Surveying / Estimating role previously.
Have a strong knowledge base and experience of JCT and NEC contracts.
Have clear and precise interpersonal skills with the confidence and ability to build relationships both internally and externally.
Have clear and concise communication skills both written and oral.
