Senior Quantity Surveyor - Manchester - £60,000 - £65,000 car allowance £6000, enhanced pension

Due to further growth and additional project awards, a new position on a project circa £35m in Manchester has opened in an area that has seen extensive commercial and retail growth over recent years

The Opportunity

This is an opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a team that has consistently grown over the last few years due to continued negotiated works and repeat business from existing clients who know they are working with a contractor who can deliver on the schemes they have won.

You will be reporting to a visiting Commercial Manager and be working on a project set amongst a thriving area that has continued to be developed due to its location in Manchester. With 5 /6 projects currently on site with further projects to start towards the third quarter of 2019, you will be working with a company that is set to become a leader in the residential market.

Skills and Experience

You will be a proven Senior Quantity Surveyor that has ideally worked on large residential high-rise contracts although this is not a barrier to entry and be experienced in all main aspects of quantity surveying including cost value reporting as well as leading a commercial team. The main credentials are the ability to manage the commercial processes working within a team whilst supporting and developing junior team members. This is an opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor who has managed their own projects and can demonstrate employment stability and progression
