The Opportunity

This leading main contractor is looking for a driven proactive Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead the site based team working on this new build education project. Working closely with the onsite team and overseeing all commercial aspects of this project reporting into a visiting Commercial Manager, this role with suit and ambitious individual who is happy working in an autonomous role.

Skills & Experience

We are looking to speak to experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor coming from a stable main contractor background. We are looking for a successful and proven history of working in the commercial lead role overseeing project valued in excess of £10m. As Senior Quantity Surveyor, reporting to the Commercial Manager, your duties will include but not limited to accurate costing and preparation of budgets for each aspect of site development, analysing and reporting on costs and cash flow vs budget, preparing tenders and procure sub-contractors, goods and materials. You need to be commercially aware and meticulous.
