As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be leading projects up to circa £50m within the North West that could include projects in education, commercial, leisure, retail and Health. This is an opportunity to join a company that has already secured a large part of their turnover over for 2020 and are in an excellent position for maintaining their growth expectation in 2021.
As Senior Quantity Surveyor reporting to the Commercial Director, you will be responsible for looking after all commercial aspects of the project which will include, subcontract procurement, accurate costing and preparation of budgets, subcontract procurement, subcontract payments, final accounts and Cost Value Reports.
Skills and Experience
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be commercially aware and meticulous in all your workings, have good people management skills with the ability to support and nurture more junior team members as and when necessary.
You will also need:
*Experience working on two stage tenders is preferred
*A good knowledge of JCT D&B and NEC Forms of Contract
