Senior Quantity Surveyor - Working for a National Tier 1 Main Contractor, this role will see you taking the lead on projects up to circa £45m

Known as one of the leading Main Contractors offering continuous opportunities throughout the North West working on education, health, commercial and mixed use leisure schemes, due to consistent contract awards this contractor is looking to further expand their existing team.

The Opportunity

As Senior Quantity Surveyor reporting to a visiting Commercial Manager and having worked in a similar position previously, you will be looking after all commercial and contractual aspects of projects, some from the pre-construction phase through to onsite delivery and handover.

As Senior Quantity Surveyor you will manage subcontract procurement and subcontract payments ensuring accurate costing and preparation of budgets. You will produce Cost Value Reports and Final Accounts and ensure that budget is maintained and wherever possible that you maximise cashflow and margin.

Skills & Experience

*Degree qualified
*You will be commercially aware and meticulous in all your workings
*Have strong people management skills with the ability to support and nurture more junior team members as and when necessary.
*You will have proven experience of having worked in a similar role previously and be able to demonstrate good clear written and verbal communication skills.
*Have a good working knowledge of NEC or JCT D&B is preferred but support can be given where needed
*Have the ability to travel as and when needed
