Senior Engineer - North West Regional Contractor - Established over 50 years, this family owned business is looking for further expand their Team due to continued structured growth

The Opportunity

Working within a busy North West region initially on new build housing projects valued at circa £4 - £10m. For the right candidate, further financial support is being offered to enable continued career growth and progression enabling its staff wherever possible for promotion from within. Offering continued career growth this role could see you moving on into site management and project management in the future and working on projects that may include commercial, educational, extra care and multi-storey residential schemes between £10m and £30m

The Role

Working as the onsite Senior Engineer you will take responsibility for overseeing the subcontractors, quality checking and assurance and, at times, site set up from commencement. Working closely with the onsite team your role may also include some setting out duties as and when required.

Skills and Experience

This role will require an experienced Senior Engineer with a Housing background although construction industry experience will be of benefit. Previous experience of managing subcontractors and junior members of staff will also be required. This role would suit a career driven individual who is looking to take on further progression responsibilities and opportunities.

Engineers with the relevant qualification/Degree who possess a current CSCS and SMSTS certification are urged to apply. First Aid, Asbestos Awareness and CAT & Jenny Training would also be of benefit although not essential.
