Senior Site Manager - North West - Regional Contractor

Quickly establishing themselves in the North West with an excellent reputation working on a diverse number of projects, you are being offered an opportunity to join a company that is looking to further expand their core team of professionals thereby enabling further development and expansion in their chosen market place.

Offering a select number of clients a negotiated solution on accommodation and leisure projects in the Greater Manchester / Cheshire area, here you will be able to be 'hands on' in the work that you do enabling a high-class finish on the projects you are working on.

The opportunity

As Senior Site Manager you will be the No.1 on site with the support of a visiting Contracts Manager. Duties will include ensuring that all works are carried out in accordance with the contract information, drawings and specifications, monitor progress in line with the current programme and reports, provide weekly progress updates, check quality and quantity of all deliveries, attend all meetings.

You will monitor and inspect the quality of works to ensure high standards are maintained and close out any outstanding issues with subcontractors working closely to ensure a good working relationship is maintained as well as checking that all site and Health & Safety records are updated in a timely manner and adhered to at all times.

Skills and Experience

*Have worked in a similar role previously.
*CSCS Card
*SMSTS
*First Aid
*Ideally you would also hold Temporary Works and Asbestos Awareness but this is preferred and not essential.
*You will be IT literate with good clear written and oral communication skills.
*Have the ability to travel as and when needed.
