Senior Site Manager - Manchester - Further Development Ensures Growth for Nationally Recognised Leading House Builder

Established over 50 years ago and continuing to produce high quality housing, this nationally recognised leading housebuilder continues to further increase their presence in and around the Manchester, Merseyside and Midlands area.

The Opportunity

As Senior Site Manager you will be reporting to a visiting Contracts Manager working as part of a team on new build housing projects up to £30m.

Skills and Experience

As Senior Site Manager, your duties will include ensuring all works are carried out in accordance with the contract information, drawings and specifications as well as monitoring progress in line with the current programme and reports and providing weekly progress updates. An eye for checking quality and quantity of all deliverables is essential as well as attending all meetings, managing and overseeing all subcontractors and ensuring that all Health, Safety and Welfare policies are adhered to at all times.

It is essential that you come from a strong residential background ideally having worked for one of the Top 10 House Buildering companies and have a proven ability of working as a Senior Site Manager. You will need to come from a stable employment background and have a proven ability of leading a strong site team with the experience and knowledge to build lasting relationships with site staff and clients alike.

Key skills:
*HNC/HND qualified
*Come from a new build housing background
*Experience of working as a No.1 in a similar role is essential
*CSCS card
*SMSTS
*First Aid Certificates
*Scaffold Safety (preferred but not essential)
