Site Agent - Civils - North West - Nationally & Internally recognised as one of the Leading Civils, Infrastructure & Building Companies in the UK

As Site Agent, you will be working with a Tier 1 main contractor who is known for working on some of the largest Civil and Build projects throughout Britain where you will be joining a brand that can offer you stability, longevity of work with career opportunities. Turning over £5billion+, they work in a number of sectors including, Roads and Rail, Commercial, Defence, Healthcare and Education.

Skills and Experience

As Site Agent you will manage and develop junior members of the team completing site records, risk assessments, method statements and permits as appropriate. You will have a keen eye on Health & Safety at all times ensuring all works are completed safely in compliance with the company's health and safety policies and procedures.

You will prepare quality, environmental and H&S construction plans in a timely manner, manage the project delivery team to ensure adequate plant, labour and subcontract and material resources are readily available to comply with the project's timescales.

You will need:

Ideally hold Degree or HNC / HND although this is not a barrier for consideration
Hold a current CSCS card
SMSTS
First Aid
Proven ability of working on highway improvements, road strengthening and similar projects including structures
Experience of managing a team
Clear communications skills are essential, as is the ability to work under your own initiative
