Site Engineer/Senior Engineer with ref.

Working with an established contractor in the Midlands region turning over in excess of £500m on major projects including student accommodation, commercial, retail and industrial projects up to and in excess of £80m.

The Opportunity

Working within a busy region on a variety of projects you will initially a major project valued at circa £75m which will consist of new build offices and a large industrial facility. Offering continued career growth this role could see you continuing as an Engineer or moving into site management and project management.

The Role

Working as the onsite Engineer you will take responsibility for overseeing the subcontractors, quality checking and assurance, you will also help to driving the project delivery. Working closely with the onsite team your role may also at time include some setting out duties when this is required.

Skills and Experience

This role will require and experienced Engineer with a construction industry background working within main contractors. Previous experience of managing subcontractors and junior members of staff. This role would suit a career driven individual who is looking to take on further progression opportunities. Its is required that you possess a current CSCS and First Aid, it would be an advantage to have a SMSTS or SSSTS.
