Site Manager opportunity working with one of the UK's leading contractors on a circa £20m student accommodation schemes as an onsite no.2 to the Project Manager.

The Opportunity

Joining this well-known main contractor as Site Manager you will be working on projects including education, retail, high rise residential and student accommodation projects. Working as the onsite no.2 to a lead Project Manager, supporting and pushing the project delivery, health & safety and quality. Duties will include working with the onsite trades and labour, checking quality, tool box talks, inductions, quality checking, weekly and monthly reporting and client meetings. Initially working on a student accommodation project in the Sheffield area that is currently underway. This role would be well suited to a driven individual who is looking to gain further career progression.

Skills & Experience

We are looking to speak with experience Site Managers coming from a main contractor background who have worked in a similar position on new build projects. In this role you will be working on projects from inception through to completion and previous experience of this will be an advantage. It is essential that you hold a current SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certificate.
