Trainee or Graduate Quantity Surveyor / Assistant Quantity Surveyor - Midlands - Awarding Winning Main Contractor working on projects from £5m to £50m

The Opportunity

Due to continued growth and expansion an award winning main contractor who is well established in the Midlands is looking to take on Trainee and Assistant Level Quantity Surveyors to join their existing Commercial Team in the Birmingham region.

Having secured work in a number of sectors including retail, student accommodation, residential and commercial, this contractor is looking to invest in your career.

The Role and Responsibilities

Reporting too and being mentored by a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will have full exposure to all aspects of working in a commercial team including assisting with tenders, Preparation of Costs, Cost Value Reports on a weekly and monthly basis, Sub-contract procurement and payments, Cash Value Reports, obtaining appropriate extensions of time and Management, interim and final accounts.

The ability to travel as and when needed will also be required as you will be working on sites across the Midlands.

Skills and Experience

HNC/HND or Degree Qualified you will ideally have one years' experience, hold a current Driving Licence and up-to-date CSCS card
Good commercial awareness and a keen drive for progression.
